Its funny isn't it , it may have been shifty,  but in the end not too smart,

Its well known in the lower level of business like the building trade or retail industry,   with cash money it has to be folding stuff, no paper work , you can hide it under a mattress , spend it on every day expences but dont put it into a bank account,

In other words, no records, no proof, your basic tradie for example  knows that,

Then we have the a profeesional organisation like this set themselves up for a big fall by not hiding their tracks.

But then the players would of been knowingly rorting the system. And there would of been a hell of a lot more people involve in "cheating" And more chances of being caught.

It is also possible they kept the books for tax reasons... The NRL reaction will be a storm in a teacup compared to the ATO if they have lost 1c in tax revenue

Man i hate using the word cheating. The players never cheated once. They played well, they won games. To tarnish the players with that brush is unfair.

This morning on Fox sportsline Jim Wilson said it was the playing group who was the leak because the large bets were placed on Wednesday night.  He was quickly shot down by the other guys on the panel.  He also said Bellamey was innocent until proven guilty and we would have to wait and see it that was true.  Also, he said why would fans go to any more games, we have no pride anymore. 

He is a Carlton support, he must have a very short memory.

Jim Wilson is the brother of gossip columist posing as sports journo Rebecca Wilson and both of them are AFL boot lickers. The fact Jim is realted to Rebecca leaves him with zero credibility.
