Greg Bird glassed his girlfriend then lied to police...to go with a few minor incidents in the past. The Sharks really had no choice on that one.jellyhead wrote:Not Stewart, but Greg Bird did.Bullets wrote: he's not getting sacked.
Stood down most likely but they won't show him the door.
Stewart didn't even come close to getting sacked so Inglis won't.

Given the NRL's current track record, it was only inevitable that Storm would get caught up with something like this...Bullets wrote: whats with people saying they were not surprised?

A shame, but a good decision made of the part of Storm management.

I'm not surprised with the decision made by the club. But yes I am surprised about the Inglis situation itself. Not sure if anyone saw my OMG's and !!!!!'s.
Dammit. I really hate Inglis right now!!!

What, precisely, does a wife-beater look like?Bullets wrote: does Inglis look like a girlfriend beater?
Sounds that - as we would expect - Storm have taken a well measured first response without either over-reaction nor brushing it under the carpet. I would hope that they will offer support and assistance to both parties.
We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately
You are a dead set idiot.gothestorm wrote:This is taking Bellamy's resting policy to an extreme, but should freshen him up nicely before the finalsmb09 wrote: Reported on Fox Sports news that Inglis has been stood down

I think he means a wife beater and a girlfriend beater are two different things.TC wrote:What, precisely, does a wife-beater look like?Bullets wrote: does Inglis look like a girlfriend beater?

If he has hit his girlfriend then we definitely don't want him!dnrtv101 wrote: i think storm would be fine without him,its just we dont want to be without him lol
There is absolutely no need for that shit!!!
Good action by the Storm in standing him down indefinitely, good on them for taking action without delay.

If we get to the final he MUST play. No second thoughts about it.Surandy wrote:If he has hit his girlfriend then we definitely don't want him!dnrtv101 wrote: i think storm would be fine without him,its just we dont want to be without him lol

His future is he misses 4 games but plays in the final. He buys his girlfriend some flowers and some earrings and everything will be ok. She will still love him as they all do.Freeze wrote: Correct (and only possible) decision by the club.
Now we can only wait for the result of the police investigation before GI's future can be decided
I don't give a lima lima lima duck if he's Greg Inglis or not - if it were me (and the alleged incident did happen) - I'd kick his arse to the kerb! Unfortunately, not every girl thinks the way I do, and as a result, they accept and forgive incidents of domestic violence...gothestorm wrote: She will still love him as they all do.
On another note, am I the only one to see the humour in GtS's posts?
Here's to hoping the remaining players can rise above the emotional toll and play their hearts out for us in finals...
lima lima lima duck off!gothestorm wrote: If we get to the final he MUST play. No second thoughts about it.
We are not the Broncos, he stays stood down until the police investigation/court actions are completed.

And here I was thinking that Greg was a lover not a fighter
