Half time and we lead 16-4

Many looking very desperate in the last 5  mins before half time

We seem to be reasonably strong up the middle and the right wing, but it gets a bit messy attacking the left wing.

Billy is getting lots of open field and is running good lines, I wouldn't be surprised to see him grab a couple of tries in the second half.

Gee that Matt Cross is a big unit, I don't recall having seen him play before.

Turner is playing well, albeit with one silly mistake in the first.

I think the plan should be to go in real hard and take the sting out of the many Forwards for the first 10 minutes of the second ... they are defiantly stronger, but with the score deficit I think mistakes are going to be made.

Beautiful try to Billy - Tackled on the line but reached out and got the ball over his head

Conversion goes through the sticks

22-4

Very nice performance. Attack seems to be getting into the swing of things albeit slowly.

As Super said we still have a lot of work to do but always pleasing when we beat Manly.

Work hard Stormers - next 2 months with Rep footy and State of Origin critical.

Cheers  :)

I listened on the net on ABC radio and they were critical of Ingliss's defencive capabilities.
But any way WOOHOO. WOOHOO.
It will be interesting to watch on FOX (not swine)

Hopefully we start some momentum.

Imagine winning a grand final when your opposing side has players unavailable due to rediculous suspensions and others thru injury, and fundamental KEY players too.
Mate I have seen so many game suspending JS + Cam on Thaiday tackles this year that havent even resulted in a penalty! Go figure.

I think Manly's win was like the Bronco's in 06.
A GIFT!

It's getting a tad boring having 'expert commentators"  saying how sluggish G I looks.

Comparing what he did last season at 5/8 with what is happening now at centre is STUPID !!

At 5/8 he got more ball & more options.

At centre he sees less ball & when he does get it every teams defence is smothering him.

Also the two ref whistle fest has changed the dynamics of the game.

Our erstwhile,(and currently absent) trolls have a ready made excuse for their team's abysmal display.
