Where's the confirmation? That article doesn't say that he has actually signed! Nor are there any direct quotes from anyone involved.

Why not, you had a go at someone else for not providing proof yet here you are making a claim that you haven't backed up.

id rather see him play his first game for us against the warriors in melbourne, we can experiment with maloney again with the tigers

5 Players rather unhappy knowing Finch is coming (in no particular order)

- Hinchcliffe
- Maloney
- Isa
- Tomane
- Taumata

We won't be seeing much of them anymore.

lmfao...now this goose is telling us what the players feel about it.

If finch does sign with us...will bellyache put maloney on the bench you reckon? i mean it might become a case of too many cooks in the kitchen but we cant let this guy sit in reserve grade we will lose him and he seems like a real talent.

Yeah I think it's a good idea to have four 5/8's in the team.

four?...i know you didnt finish high school, but how do you figure there would be 4?

Finch has played half the past year or so...sure he might be suited to 5/8 but he hasnt played there for about 2 years IIRC (correct me if im wrong).

Maloney is also a halfback. one game at 5/8 doesnt make you a regular 5/8.

inglis isnt a 5/8.

cam is a hooker.

so where are the 4 regular 5/8s?

Perhaps Maloney could play centre. Anything to get rid of Chambers who is probably the worst Storm player I have seen in the last 10 years

who are our four 5/8s gothestorm?

i cant see bellyache dropping chambers...not sure where we can play maloney, he is a ball player so i cant see him going to well in centre.

Did I really need to name them?

lol....finch is the only one that could come close to being a "real 5/8".

Potentially potent backline with the likes of Cronk, Finch, Inglis and Slater. Might build into something nicely  8)

Just heard on Fox now Finch is expected to sign with the Storm within 2 days.

Finch might just sign for this year and then move to England.. or Union....he more or less said that on Sunday.

So it looks like we have got him for this year at least.

good news if we do get Finch.  Just wondering how, he would fit under the cap?  did taumata free up some coin or is finch willing to take a pay cut for 2009?

finally, if Finch is only for the 09 season, will the long term plan be, is to sign taumata again for 2010?
