My 3.5yr old who use to love StormMan was so afraid of this new thing with a helmet head.
He was so upset and wanted to know where Storm Man was - what could I say ......
Can't see why you would change your mascot at all, let alone half way through the season.
Bring back the old Storm Man suit.

I'm on bringing the old storm man back bandwagon, however, I really think what we do need to change is the Cheerleaders. They need to update their outfits, I know it's Melbourne and it gets cold and that is probably why they wear pants and put their zip up tops on, but I like the proper cheerleader look with the panels on the skirts and them throwing each other up in the air (think Bring it On).
Maybe those running the club and particularly those who made this change need this point brought to their attention. And whilst they're at it they should take the logo into account when considering what Storms colours actually are. Or will the logo be the next on the hit list?DaveInOz wrote: For clarifications on what storm man is meant to look like see club logo.
He needed a new suit, not a different one.
How can the club have "tradition" when the powers that be keep moving away from everything that is "traditional" about the club?

First time I was aware there was a new Stormman.
Has the club ever heard of market research? Was there a need to change the mascot. I am aware that the NRL forced new mascots on clubs this year, but I thought the NRL one was a big blob looking thunder bolt.
Well, I guess at least this Stormman is good to his mother...

Maybe some good natured heckles along the lines of, "Where do ya insert the batteries??" will be aimed at poor Storm Man on MondayChristabella wrote: Just read this comment on the new Storm man:
