Still may be others leave eg from memory Slade Griffin wasn't announced until after GF. But usually there are a cast of thousands in the departing players video.

Very disappointing for both Falcons 'locals'.

Anyone think that next year if we could get Cory Norman at the right price that him at 5/8 and Munster at 1 would strengthen the team and rotate the younger blokes through the back bench spot or Cory at 7 and Hughes at 1

Not interested. He's too self centred - not a team player; and that above all is why Bellamy coached teams work. Teamwork and people knowing (and being happy in) their roles..

No thanks RE Corey Norman. Also I don't think he would agree to come to Melbourne and lose his Sydney-social-media-celebrity status

If it's the same Tyrell that played for Souths then I wouldn't like it although he is the typical Storm system player so wouldn't be a bad signing.

Falcons have signed Tyson Smoothy from Redcliffe Dolphins HDC/Brisbane Broncos. A very strong hooker/lock. One to keep an eye on next season.

Melbourne Storm legend and NRL games record holder Cameron Smith has announced his intention to play on in 2019 - an incredible 18th season in the NRL.

Great news... if true. I never quite trust News.Ltd (who seem to be the original source).

Storm tweeting out and posting that article is just bizarre to me.

Storm hadn't posted anything when I put it up this morning.
Storm's version of the article is much less definite than Slothfield's. Theirs says
Cameron Smith is close to finalising a new contract that will see him enter a record 18th season with Melbourne Storm.

It still has a quote in it from the Saturday Telegraph.

I'd prefer the Storm twitter account and website wait on facts when it comes to player signings.
