Scooter wrote:The Easts Tigers are in the GF of all three grades. What a wonderful effort. I have listed below the notable players from a Storm perspective in each team.

Qld Cup: 2013 Storm: Ben Hampton, Mahe Fonua, Junior Sa'u, Mitch Garbutt, Tim Glasby and Lagi Setu. 2014 Storm: Cody Walker. Victorian and ex-Storm NSW Cupper: Maeli Seve.

FOGS Cup: Ex-Storm Under 20s: Ryan Pooley.

FOGS Colts: Current or previous contracts with Storm: Ellery Tusa, Billy Walters, Mitchell Moore and Alex Barr (I thought I read somewhere Barr was signed to our Under 20s this year but he didn't play).

Sharks NSW Cup play their Preliminary Final on Sunday against North Sydney Bears. Kirisome Auva'a, Young Tonumaipea, Siosaia Vave and Junior Moors have all been named to play.

Good luck to the Tigers and Sharks on Sunday.
Just realised there's no Kenny Bromwich, why wouldn't he play?

Go Sharkies!!!!!!!!

Let's hope Easts can finish off what they've started and the Sharkies can get up in the NSW Cup!

Garbutt and Glasby are beasts. Walker is solid, he'd be a good option as our goal-kicker next season. Fonua needs to work on his high-ball judgement. Hampton is a mediocre fullback.

What a dickhead statement. They are playing in the Qld cup, not the NRL!!

LMAO those two were the best on the field for Easts. What does calling them beasts have anything to do with playing in the NRL ?

Another troll perhaps ?

Close. I'd bet my last cent it's Go the Storm's last incarnation and thought that with the last couple of post the plonker has made.

You obviously didn't watch the game. They lost a close game to a very good side who took their opportunities a little better. Hardly a choke.

It was a great match - end to end football with some great attack. It was one of those games where no-one deserves to lose.

And as for Garbutt and Glasby, they are both young but showed they wouldn't be out of place in any first grade side.

So it looks like Robertutz is back.

Great effort by Easts Tigers making all three grand finals. Winning two of them and pushing Mackay to the 80th minute in the other.

Good luck to the Sharks in the NSW Cup GF.

Matt Minto was really impressive for the Cutters yesterday. Anything threatening from them came from his play. Really classy player, reminds me a lot of DCE when he was playing for the Sunshine Coast.
