They played pretty damn well. Walker is a class above any player in the Q Cup.

Townsend playing for Sharks tonight. Not such good news for Sharks NSW Cup team on Sunday.

I'd hope Finchy rather than Widdop plays tomorrow night.

Just think Finchy brings more to the team right at this point of time.

Cronulla into the prelim 54-18

Does anyone know if finchy will play out the finals with them (or Townsend for that matter)?

Was just thinking that Matt. I reckon they might try and get Finchy in for the big games.

I was surprised Finchy didn't play yesterday. Not sure what rules are, Finchy ended up playing half of NRL season and with Storm out not sure if he is eligible. I would expect Townsend to play next week.

How good was Junior Moors in second row yesterday? His passing and offloads resulted in a couple of line breaks and at least three tries. Clearly second best player on field behind Peachey. Vave and Tonumaipea were also quite good. Young and Kirisome both scored a try.

The Easts Tigers are in the GF of all three grades. What a wonderful effort. I have listed below the notable players from a Storm perspective in each team.

Qld Cup: 2013 Storm: Ben Hampton, Mahe Fonua, Junior Sa'u, Mitch Garbutt, Tim Glasby and Lagi Setu. 2014 Storm: Cody Walker. Victorian and ex-Storm NSW Cupper: Maeli Seve.

FOGS Cup: Ex-Storm Under 20s: Ryan Pooley.

FOGS Colts: Current or previous contracts with Storm: Ellery Tusa, Billy Walters, Mitchell Moore and Alex Barr (I thought I read somewhere Barr was signed to our Under 20s this year but he didn't play).

Sharks NSW Cup play their Preliminary Final on Sunday against North Sydney Bears. Kirisome Auva'a, Young Tonumaipea, Siosaia Vave and Junior Moors have all been named to play.

Good luck to the Tigers and Sharks on Sunday.
