Superlatives can not describe that game. Just. Woah.

I think an essay is required to do it justice. Brb.

I really have to say that the only way that Boofa played at that kick from Orford was if he cracked a fat.

In the land we call Victoria
Where all good legends dwell
There's a champion rugby league team
And we sing a bit as well

We're a rough tough bunch of bastards
And we're in a bit of form
No-one can defeat us
We're the mighty Melbourne Storm

We really gave it to those boys
We really gave 'em hell
We would have scored a lot more points
But they rang that final bell

We're a rough tough bunch of bastards
And we're in a bit of form
No-one can defeat us
We're the mighty Melbourne Storm

I saw the 100 years of rugby league doco on the History Channel on Wednesday, I hadn't realised they sang this song following the 99 GF.

Now I've just watched the last 5 minutes of the match about 4 times.

Trying to decide on my favourite moment.

Billy's save from the Broncows making their attempt at a final try
Sika Manu's tackle for the turnover
Craig Bellamy going sick after GI's try
Those hillbillies giving Smithy the fingers in the background while he is lining up for a conversion

or the look of devastation on the Broncows faces afterwards...  ;D

No worries mate, we were singing loud and proud at the pub last night!

I've now fixed up my original post to account for my lapse in memory. ;)
