I went up to Sydney to celebrate our Minor Premiership win, but sadly the night was rather depressing so it took a bit off the euphoria of actually winning the Minor Premiership.
But it shouldn't take away from the brilliant season we have had where players have often made herculean efforts just to make the side (especially during rep season).
One effort that sticks in my mind was Ryan Hinchcliffe who drove back from the City Country game in Albury for 4 hours, then caught a 6am flight from Melbourne to Brisbane to play an important role in a great win over the Broncos. He could easily have said he was too tired but he not only got on with the job without much fuss, he starred when we needed him to.
THAT is Melbourne Storm!
