C'mon Super Cronk - a hammy strain shouldn't put someone out for 6 weeks. I suspect it is something much more serious. Just my opinion though.

you can have severe strains or pulls. there is no way possible a hamstring injury would keep someone out all year, maybe if they tore it off the bone...but that didnt happen.

some info for you gothestorm:
Although hamstring strains differ greatly in their severity, the ‘average' hamstring strain probably takes 4-6 weeks to fully repair, rather than the 2-3 weeks that most people think.

Can anyone please tell me why we have Johnson hitting the ball up?! He has never made a break or an offload in his life and it is just a waste of one tackle every time. Gee that is so frustrating.

Players who should must be stood down:

- Chambers
- Inglis
 - Johnson
- Hoffman
- Koopu
- Quinn
- Turner

johnsons job isnt to make line breaks or score 2 tries a game. some players are in teams for their defence not every league player is an attacking machine. johnsons job is to hit it up hard give the halves time to work out the next play. his job is also to make as many tackles as he cans and he usually hits the 30+ mark. i dont expect him to score or throw cut out passes...he is doing his job.

Fair enough - but gee there are some players on big money that are NOT doing their job, and action must be taken!

well 5 weeks for a hammy is pretty concerning, yet true, not season ending at all!

if we are paying through the nose for some of these players, it would be a waste to not play them, you lack basic knowledge that a four year old would have

hmmm ive got greg inglis who is getting $300,000+ a year, australian rep and queensland rep and hes had a few off games, DROP HIM!

idiot

And yes gothestorm i agree there are players that are not pulling their weight... but there are a ton of players that are doing much worse than DJ. we cant expect him to fix our attack.

"The game has changed a little bit, perhaps I didn't realise how much so I need to get a bit wiser," he said.

"It's a bit quicker game and the 10s have shortened up a bit ... after watching this game there's a few things where I need to change my mentality."
bellamy after the game ^^^^

Doesnt explain the knock ons tho. or the lack of formation in attack.

Where is the spark? hit up, tackle, hit up, tackle, hit up, tackle, hit up, tackle, hit up, tackle, kick. We are too predictable. I'm not saying try something differant every set. But the 2 times we try something differant it pays off- Cronk's 40/20 and his kick accross field to Inglis while we were well in our own half and struggling to get out. We very rarely try any little chips over the top no more. Our set plays are too predictable because we used them last year. Since nothing is working we are putting pressure on ourselves. Good news is we are only 5 rounds in. Things will hopefully turn around sooner then later.

Couple of quick points on players.
Blair- nearly cost us the game trying to offload when we are 8 points up and well in our own half, use a bit off common sense. Also you watch him in defence, he is always the last player off the line. You want easy metres just run at him.
Chambers- replace him with Isa or Tomane.
Quinn- i don't know why so many don't like him on here, he was playing with a injury early on in the year but is always solid. Does his fair share of hit ups aswell.
Turner- yeah we all know he is struggling but tries his best. Atleast he does a few hit ups aswell unlike some others who are struggling.
Johnson- stick to tackling and nothing else.
Maloney- good job, i wonder why it took until round 5 to give him a go.
