At the season launch on Friday Night at approximately 8pm  Brian Wally Waldron announced that an announcement would be made re a player signing in the next few days = that would cement the clubs future we can assume that this would be billy as stated in Sydney paper yesterday.  Bill would not tell me if he won the "Rexona Challenge" which quote"was filmed in December over a four day period"and bill did not get any extra rexona product than anyone else.


Also could the rumor be true "Quote from Craig, Geoff Lima is our new Captain cause Cameron Can't Kick"" :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

GI and Coops have a contract with Vidal Sasson Hair Straightners - but GI does not have one with Gillette. :) :) :) :) :)

Really...over 4 days? that cant be true. if it is...that makes the guys efforts all that better.

haha...well if being a good kicker means you get the captaincy then Jeff wont be getting it thats for sure  :lol:

and if slater does not re-sign ill walk to china on my head.

Great news if it's the case
The Melbourne Sunday Herald-Sun had a section in "Confidential"? that said they heard terms had been reached with Slater on a four year deal and that the finer details were just being work out.  Expect an announcement shortly - Its funny, but out of all of the players at the Storm, Slater is the one that I've been least concerned with leaving.  Everything he says and does just projects a great love of the Storm.
