I find friday nights and monday nights are a bit of a hassle, so have to be very organised and try and get off work a little earlier helps
Agreed, although one benefit of Friday night games are that I at least have a chance that they might fall on my RDO (like Round 1 does).CooperCronk wrote: I find friday nights and monday nights are a bit of a hassle, so have to be very organised and try and get off work a little earlier helps
I guess it must be official, our Round 1 game will be played at Telstra Dome on March 13th.

I'm with you Surandy, if I didn't have an RDO on 13th of March I wouldn't be able to go to the game. Telstra done is such a hassle to get to, means, park the car and catch the train at Richmond.
Let hope the flames throws are a thing of the past, last year was a bit much 30 + degrees and the flame throwers made the night nearly unbearable.

Those flame throwers were ridiculous. Way too hot for that last year.wenjo wrote: I'm with you Surandy, if I didn't have an RDO on 13th of March I wouldn't be able to go to the game. Telstra done is such a hassle to get to, means, park the car and catch the train at Richmond.

I resent that remark.nacho wrote: i think all we have to worry about is the broncos game.
playing the broncos at home with the self proclaimed 'greatest backline to take the field' could spell trouble for us that early in the season.

Email from the club, game is back at OP!
Game has been moved due to issues with the bushfire concert thing on March 14th and the government wanting nothing else on that night so the NAB Cup being moved to the Friday night at Docklands meaning our game moves to OP.
Hope Waldron (oops, make that Storm) got a few bucks off Brumby for that move.

No offence to anyone but I don't care a whiz if we got no 'compensation' or whatever for the game being moved back to OP.
The people affected by the last bushfires (and the ones surely still to come) need all the help they can get and if our moving the game gets more people go to the concert and in turn raise more money for the appeal then who cares where or when we play.
