Agreed, if there early then you can spend time chatting to Storm players and supporters and checking out the merchandise.

I'm more worried that if any of the boys make runs, Cricket Australia might throw big cash at them... the cricket team don't seem to be able to make any!
Storming our way to glory!

A nice afternoon game, pity the Storm boys couldn't win. We batted first and struggled early with the loss of 3 wickets for just 7 runs before a couple of the guys put some runs on the board. I don't have a scorecard so don't ask me who got what but I think Cactus (Chris Couch), Dane Nielson and Matt Cross went pretty well.

Storm were all out in the final over after scoring 131. Unfortunately the bowling (and fielding) wasn't up to the task of restraining the Bulldogs attack who passed our total in the 14th over with the loss of just three wickets. Dane Nielson being the pick of the bowlers with two wickets.

Playing for Storm were Ryan Hoffman (c), Jeff Lima, Billy Slater, Cameron Smith, Cooper Cronk, Brett Anderson, Willie Isa, Matt Cross, Ryan Hinchcliffe, Matt Cross and Chris Couch.

No probs mate, I actually expected others to have already provided an update before me.

The turn out was quite good, maybe as many as 1,000 (but I'm hopeless judging crowd numbers). Heaps of purple around, probably close to 50% Storm support in the crowd.

It was funny when Storm were fielding and Billy Slater misfielded, he'd drop for some quickfire pushups.
