So it was pretty much him holding out another year and if so it could be seen as him f***ing us over twice?
That's a very harsh call IMO. He was well within his rights to stay with us when the Queens first came knocking as he still had a year to run on his contract. He chose to stay because he wanted to be a part of a premiership winning team (maybe 2) and i can't see one single thing wrong with that. That's what players play for and the vast majority of them aren't lucky enough to win one so who in their right mind would give up that opportunity if it was presented to them? Would you? Of course you wouldn't.

He decided to stay and i for one can't blame him because his decision has been vindicated. Just as much as i don't blame him for going after the dollars to look after his family in what could be his last contract. It was also a risk in some ways to stay with us the extra year he was entitled to.

From all reports the money the queens were offering him the first time was pretty attractive and there was no guarantee it was going to be offered from then again, or anyone else when his contract expired for us (through poor form, injury, no money left in teams caps etc) so in that way he took a big risk as well by knocking back the cash in the first place and missing out all together, or making much less than he's been offered for the next 3 years.

Personally i wish Jez all the best and while i'm disappointed to see him leave that has nothing to do with why he's choosing to or any decision he made in the past. He's been an excellent player for us and it'll be a shame to see him go.

Not wishing the bloke any ill feeling, good luck to him, just from what I've heard and read here, seems he could of gone about things in a more honorable way.
Its all fun and games til someone gets kicked in the head...

how?  He stayed out his contract = honourable.  Been told to look elsewhere - not his fault, honourable.  Jezza has done nothing wrong IMO at all, but everyone has their own view I guess

Jezz was strong against Parra, dropped a couple of Crucial balls though! What I like about him most is the mongrel he shows, really gets into the bigger boys and gets under their skin.
"Better to have Won then Lost, than to have never won at all" Arrogant, but true hahahaha
