It's great that the Storm could do the bunnies a favour.  Now, can the (Once Were) Warriors do us a favour and beat the Sea Eagles tomorrow at Mt Smart, so that we can go into the pre-Origin round two points clear at the top of the table?

Since I live here the rain gauge indicator indicates evidence of decent rain.

One call I still can't work out from last night... the play where the Cowboys player knocked on in attempting to score, and GI picked it up and got back to the field of play.  How was it not a 20m restart for the knock on in-goal?

totally agree,
forward passes, knock ons, obstructions are all calls made by the referee and are open to interpretation and the view of the official, this was a down right incorrect call by both the ref and also the video ref who had a couple of minutes to think about it. ???

not seen this ref before, started off really pedantic (sp) calling storm off side at the 20m restart and then holding up play (but not stopping the clock) to tell the storm players to be behind the line for the cowboys converstion. both correct decisions but he then had to follow through with this for the rest of the game. number of forward passes not seen by the touchies. pretty inept display by all officials. :x

I also was bewildered about this call by the video ref. Apparently the ruling was that a Storm player stripped the ball (legally) as the Cowboy player was attempting to ground it therefore play on was the correct ruling.

that would make sense, I just thought he'd lost it already though.  If it was deemed a strip, then correct call

well I watched the game last night and would like to apologise to the ref as I believe he got the call regarding the 20m restart correct....there I've said it...i was wrong!!! :-X :?
Still thought it was a farly average performance by all officials though.

thought the refs were shithouse. and what was with the ref yelling out "GO" every single tackle...that was annoying.

Early in the 2nd half I think. I was standing behind the uprights at the northern end and it was near the 'Bai Stand'. Looked pretty ugly. Just looked like liquored up kids not knowing when to stop. Took a few cops to subdue it though.
