Channel Nein won't show it in Melbourne, hell they're only showing one hour of the 7's in Sydney according to the tv guide.

Oops, that should actually read under 40 minutes when you allow for ads and chit chat by the "expert" commentary team.

I couldn't help myself, I just had to ring Channel Nein's programming department.

Bunch of idiots is about the best compliment I can come up with.

I asked them what time the Cougar World 7's Tournament was being televised at. They said.....wait for it.......it isn't.

I already knew that but I thought I'd use that as a lead in to hassle them about their piss poor rugby league coverage.

They argue that it's a commercial decision not to show rugby league as it doesn't rate well, even though over 500,000 people in Melbourne watched the NRL grand final and even though part of the "lack of ratings" of RL is their own fault coz they won't promote telecasts when they are on.

ARGH!!!! Why do I bother?!?

Oh, that's right! Coz I want the Storm to succeed and grow in Melbourne.

Go STORM! I'll be there to watch them play at the Graveyard, win, lose or draw! But I know they'll win.
