on the storm site its called the media day. Does anyone know how this went?

Kingy, according to Channel Ten news it was their media launch day and they used it to announce Hostplus signing on as sponsors and mention that Kidwell will be captain this weekend. Also had an interview with Kidwell.

According Channel Nein Storm don't exist, no mention at all on their 6pm news.

It certainly was the Media day today. It's prevented me from purchasing SoO 3 tickets - it's had all the Storm staff tied up on this day. Long story about the tickets - they haven't released some to the public that should have been by now!

the thing on channel 10 news was surprisingly good, it should be on sports tonight too tonight hopefully

Agreed, we've had a half decent run on Channel Ten in recent weeks. I think it was the Friday before the last trial match the last sports item before the weather was Storm and their six captains for 2006. They had interviews with Hill, Kidwell and Boofa. I saw nothing on Nein's news.

Wait for 10 news to drop Storm coverage like bricks once AFL season starts properly.

Priot to 10 being an AFL broadcaster, Storm and league in general actually feature more significantly, usually the first segment up for about 5 minutes.

dont know if i saw a different one..but it didnt go very long. they showed the jersey with new sponsors and named kidwell as captain...

It has been pushed back from February, than to March and now early April.  I'll wait and see if it runs at all this year  :-\
