Geez man there is like 4 weeks until the actual footy starts.  I think having more than 5 people who already involved is a terrible thing. imagine the number of people who will have signed up to beat me by March 10.

I believe this should either be all away teams or lowest score rather than the average.
Otherwise people who do make the effort to put their tips in but tip poorly are at a disadvantage because those who forget or simply don't have time will get more points. If anyone disagrees then I ask why are you entering the tipping comp? The idea is to get your tips in on time.

I agree with Christa... away teams is the way to go IMO, but I'm not all that worried either way

I also chan ged the late starter to away aswell, for people who join the comp late.

Also for those that fail to tip, and I'm not certain that you can do this, but it always worked for comps that I ran, if you fail to put your tips in, you can not collect the bonus points for a full round.

A couple of years ago, away teams won like everygame in rounds 1 and 3 and 6 of 7 in round 2.  I recall that tipping comp people were rather PO'd with those that came in late or didn't tip getting all the away teams and bonus points...at least those that weren't in my comp. :badgrin:

Forward thinking I called it. ;)

I've just signed up, dont know hwo ill go, im better at afl tipping then NRL., b nice if I could do the double this year btu doubt it

also just to confirm, u can change your tips can't u. I like to put all ym tips in for the season and change themn as I go jsut so i never miss a week, so I pressume it is possible to do this, can someone please confirm :)

Yeha you can edit your tips upto a certain time. i think friday 5pm is the cut off time.
