Anyone going to Griffith for the other trial game?
Hey All,
Excuse my ignorance if it's been posted before (had a quick look couldnt find it), but is anyone going to Griffith for the other trial game? I think its the weekend of the 17th - 19th Feb , and does anyone know what day it's actually on?
Unfortunately I cant make it to Adelaide.....
Thaaaaaaaaaaanks

Not me, I had thought about going but I really need to conserve some money. It's just a bit too far away, although I had considered spending a night at Cobram.
My credit card has been getting a workout lately and Storm still haven't charged my 2006 membership yet.

I've actually emailed the club about the actual dates for the 2 trials as I intend on going to at least 1 if not both. Just waiting for a reply. May take a while though. New offices only just openend today and they'll have a little time to catch up on everything.
But there's a very good chance I'll be there.

Been to Griffith multiple times for work. Beautiful town, very modern. If you love your wines, especially reds, you will love the place. Also very good for Italian food.cheriebee wrote: Thanks Guys.....much appreciated for the info

Got this from another forum:
Melbourne Storm's 2006 NRL pre-season games
Tue Jan 24, 2:46pm (VIC)
Source: Melbourne Storm
Melbourne Storm has three pre-season trial games organised for the 2006 season, two against the Parramatta Eels and one against the Brisbane Broncos.
The first game against Parramatta in Ballina will be the Storm’s first pre-season game. Coach Craig Bellamy has indicated he will select his best team for the opening trial game of the year.
The second game against the Eels will be a clash between the young guns from each club. For the Storm, the squad will be made up of all the young players who have trained with the first grade squad over the summer, as well as other older players who did not feature in the first game. Ben Cross will also play in this game.
The final pre-season game against the Broncos will also feature a full strength Melbourne Storm team. Bellamy considers this to be a vital game in his preparations for the 2006 season as it is the final game before the Round one clash against the New Zealand Warriors in Auckland.
