We won, the Cowboys lost, we shoudl be able to wear our number one jersey. **** the Cowboys. They can wear their white.

To even out the lopsided count of wins as oppose to losses while wearing the bonds t-shirts? LOL

I think it was because the white Cowboys strip still carries a fair bit of navy.

That alone would be about 7,500 and that's not counting the western side or the general admission areas.
Yakstorm on LU said the PAX number on his ticket bought today was close to 17 thousand and according to Ticketek, PAX number is the number of tickets sold up to that point, so there'll be a pretty good turnout but may be a bit low for a finals game. I'm expecting closer to 20K on the day. Capacity is 40K so there should be plenty of seats left for those rocking up on the day.

20,000 would be a great crowd considering 2 non NSW sides playing. The verbal warfare between the 2 clubs may also attract a few new spectators to the game.

LOL I'll believe that when I see it. The last time I went to Aussie Stadium they only just cracked 8000 for two Sydney teams that hate each other. Okay so the weather wasn't great and the fact that neither side would be able to go one any futher didn't help but I simply can not fathom how 17 000 people would have already purchsed tickets for this game.

That Cowboys side looks strong on paper, and after getting hammered by Wests they will be fireing,
then add the whole grapple and punch thing, this is going to be one hell of a game.

Hopefully they play the game in the media and are spent before they get out on the ground.

Yeap, just bought some more tickets and it was just shy of 17,300 so the crowd isn't looking too bad. Anything 15K+ makes an alright atmosphere at Aussie Stadium.

I recommend everyone though to try and drag along a few neutrals, and make them token Storm fans for the night, thats what I'm doing, North Queensland had their chance for NRL glory last year, this year is Melbournes!

A large porition of tickets were pre-bought prior to the finalising of the two competiting teams, throw in the fact that tickets have also been given out to schools to help boost the crowd, but yeah it is possible for two non-Sydney teams to draw a crowd, remember 31,616 for Warriors v Raiders a couple of years ago.

Cooper will be a good replacment for Ox if he's unable to play, he needs some Storm field time ahead of the trials.
