Totally bogus. At least he'll still be around for the next bit.

Hopefully he'll be able to play a Darren Smith-type roll when all our new props are playing State of Origin next year. Ha.

the salary cap is for the 25 higest paid players at the club...if he isnt a player then he doesnt come under the cap.

So yes that does free up money under teh cap.

tape it!
he just talked about he's 'the face of storm', and he'd love to play on, he feels alright at the moment, but thinks by pre-season he'll be felling his age. they had his whole family on and talked about his role in the future. then craig talked about how he's going to be hard to replace
ect ect.

Robbie Kearns. I am so sad that he is retiring, and I will miss his familiar running style and his leadership qualities. He will always be the captain, who lead from the front, and let his football do the talking. I hope he has a great life, and enjoys the marketing and ambassador role the Storm has given to him.

He's a true LEGEND, Robbie Kearns.

Hopefully with Robbie's last home game (more than likely) it will bring a few extra through the turnstiles. What sort of crowd could be expected this week?

My favorite memory of Robbie Kearns would have to be his first game back from injury after Muppet stripped him of the captaincy.

When Kearnsy got that try and OP just erupted! I swear the crowd was still cheering him 5 minutes later.
