I thought you'd have to play more than a handful number of games in a season to be eligible for finals selection.

I think the QRL rules are that you have to have played more QRL than NRL games to qualify this year

But the plan is for him to play this weekend and if what steaming stormer said is true, he'd have played one more qrl game than nrl this season by this time next weeek.

exactly. He was even talking about coming off the bench and only playing a handful of minutes, but it would qualify him as this is the last game of the regular season

Or even if they threw him on for the final 30 seconds of the match if they wanted to qualify him for the finals.
I'd have thought after missing the entire season to injury, and having played nothing this year, yet much more Devils than Storm last season, he'd have been allowed to play QRL finals.

Robbo was 18th man, backup in case anyone was injured during the pre-game warmup. He said he was fit to play if needed.
