Never seen meaney hit 3/4 balls consecutively as poorly as that. Would be interested when it happened

Pretty much learnt nothing re Wishart pezet, wouldnt have been easy for Wishart with the whole spine looking disjointed.
as everyone else has said there is absolutely no reason for garlick to be picked next wk nothing against him but you can't have him and pez on the bench together

Chan was good again as was lisati but his night was a little soured by a couple of errors, seeing a fair bit of competition of spots leading up to finals particularly on the bench.

Chan and Lisati both standout because of their leg speed. Should be obvious to the coaching staff that even with errors they generally are a positive influence on the team.

NAS MacDonald and Loiero back in next week should be a boost, bench will look completely different against the Broncos.

Wishart is better as a utility or even 13, give him minutes when Loiero is off and start Pezet, give the kid a chance.

Papenhuyzen as bad as he was topped the metres and tackle breaks for the backline, needs to be so much better though as a senior player.

Stefano for the second week my standout, this is the player everyone hoped he could be, looked like Payne Haas out there at times. He could be a real game changer in the finals if he keeps it up, epic game from him.

Also I know he isn’t flashy but isn’t Shawn Blore becoming a really reliable type? Guy gets through a lot of work and rarely fluffs it. Been really impressed with his game this year, still think he would make a really good middle too.

I add my voice to the ringing endorsement of Stefano’s game . It really looks as if it is starting to click for him. Exactly what we got him for - Big metres up the middle , to bend the defence; and the big minutes a welcome bonus

Trent back next week, and presumably Alec MacDonald; and NAS available too ( that will be an interesting selection discussion )

As with others here, I am frustrated with the handling of Jonah. He’s a legitimate 7 - play him there for 80.

Couple of bad errors from Pappy. The knock on in play the ball and dropping bomb late. Surprised he goalkicked, normally when he returns from leg injury he doesn't kick first game back.

Meaney clearly best goalkicker on field from either team and he had only one kick. My daughter said why is Lomax kicking? He is horrible. He lost NSW State of Origin.

Thank goodness X and Eli are so good under the high ball.

How did Butler confirm Guymer's try? Clearly Pappy held him up. One commentator on 9 said that it was like Howarth no try in GF.

Lisati first stint was great "running on top of the ground". Second stint not so good.

Chan was good too. Great decoy run and great pass from Harry for Tui's try.

Stefano was brilliant. The run just before Coates try he bounced off about 4 or 5 Eels.

Harry was good again.

Agree can't have Garlick and Pezet both on bench.

About 15 minutes in, did anyone else think Munster was on receiving end of a cannonball tackle?

It was a “cannonball” tackle but it was at the hips which makes it legal.

Munster has low hips. It was nowhere near his hips.

Well, it wasn't low enough to be penalised.

Big silver lining, our forward pack stood up, with NAS, Loiero and Macca back in next week there’s no reason we can’t lean on them again to stand up to the Broncos, just need a bit more from the outside backs particularly Papi and we can definitely hold firm until Hughes is back.

One charge from judiciary

Eli Katoa for high shot on Jack Williams in 79th minute $1,000 - $1,500 fine.

The question will be does Nelson make it back into our best 17. I was going through it last night with someone and completely forgot about him.
