We can’t get a call this second half, it’s been borderline corrupt.

Klein even tried to take that one off Wishy, bloke needs to be investigated this second half. Corrupt.

Wow the boys have finished on fire, lovely bit of footy from Coates for Hughes to wrap it up.

Spoke too soon, this team can’t do anything the easy way 🫣

Probably the most unnecessarily stressful game I’ve ever watched, Bellamy will be ropable.
But we are top of the table, onwards and upwards, still a lot to improve on.

Don’t even know what to make of that. It was such a strange game.
We were punished for not shutting down plays when we should have. Letting the ball bounce, poor positioning, and the bounce of the ball rarely fell our way. You make your own luck most of the time however and you more often than not, get what you deserve.

Agreed - that was a stressful game.
Felt like we were on top in everything except the scoreboard all game.

Agreed. It felt like Brisbane were really willing to chance their arm with their passes and early kicks which caused a lot of trouble. I think that’s why the wingers got caught out a bit as it’s against what they typically face.yourhero wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2024 10:02 pm Don’t even know what to make of that. Anyone else really pleased to see some of the guys who’ve been in the system a while starting to really show something and have some moments? Wishart’s been sneaky good to start the year, Coates had some moments tonight but had a hand in a few tries and it was good to see Howarth get some minutes.
No Haas. No Walsh. Reynolds missing in the second half. Piakura out. Willison out. At AAMI Park. Almost back to complete full strength Storm.
32 points conceded and we barely scrape home…
A bit worrying to be honest.

Also - adding to the weirdness of this game: the Storm only missed 19 tackles. Felt like they missed about 50.
