Agreed. The Storm will know exactly where they sit with Jahrome and offers he might be fielding. As you say, it could absolutely be the silver lining in Jahrome choosing to leave, that the Club can let Cam go out when he wants to and keep Harry and hopefully Champ Cheese starting in the 13 at lock. All speculation but it’s not out of the realms of possibility.Shuttlesworth99 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 11:29 amYeah this was all in line with my thinking if he isn’t resigned. It is pretty clear that we are organising long term contingencies in the halves for the possibility of no Jahrome. But in the short term with the ability to shift cam to the halves and have Harry in the 9 - which could work for up to two years - it almost works to our advantage. It could literally be the list management stroke that keeps our most important young players happyStorm Spirit wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 11:04 amWell if Jahrome honestly thinks the grass is greener somewhere else and can’t see that Storm has stuck by him and made him the player he is today, then we might as well let him go now and play Cam at 7 in 2021 so Harry can play 9, Brando at lock with Dale moving into the front row. I wonder if this is why Storm are allegedly into Matt Burton....seems to make sense now.Shuttlesworth99 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 10:27 am
I’m not a fan of his managers tactics during the finals...
But you can only assume that the Storm have tabled an offer that hasn’t impressed Jahrome and his manager is beating the jungle drums
It’s actually really hard to figure out a value for him to be fair. I have a suspicion that he may end up leaving. I can’t see the Storm risking overpaying for him - one good season at half back, won’t play full back here again, it doesn’t seem to translate into a big deal here with uncertainties around the cap.
The timing of Jahromes managers comment are quite telling.

Would be happy with this. The thought of losing both wingers at the same time has been a bitter pill to swallow all year. Having JAC would enable another winger (Lumelume likely) to develop and better understand strengths with less pressure.
Personally I see it as more of a ploy to force the dogs or tigers to do something but who knows. It’s been such a delicate topic all year. Hopefully no matter what the final move is it doesn’t drag out much longer. We need to lock this situation up and move on.

Yeah we have Hughes for 2021 but he is free to negotiate a new contract.
The talk of shifting Cam to 7 is our speculation based off Jahromes contractual situation if he were to sign with a new club for 2022 onwards

Mansour would be a 1 year (or 2 max) option if Storm couldn't identify suitable long term replacements for Suli and Foxx.
The player I'd be interested in replacing Fox or Suli is Corey Allan. Primarily a FB but also plays wing .
Over priced and/or under skilled ?
Am I missing something ?

Allen is a great player but I feel he's a bit too slow. Only issue with Mansour is his age. Wouldn't get too many years out of him but his workload as a winger is phenomenal and he'd fit the system well.Storm Spirit wrote: ↑Mon Nov 02, 2020 4:55 pmMansour would be a 1 year (or 2 max) option if Storm couldn't identify suitable long term replacements for Suli and Foxx.

If not, it would just stunt the development of another winger

Fair enough ROTS especially when compared to Foxx or Suli maybe......but he's not exactly a snail either.riders of the storm wrote: ↑Mon Nov 02, 2020 5:09 pmAllen is a great player but I feel he's a bit too slow. Doesn't look too shabby in the speed department in this U20 video from his time at the Broncos;

Mansour is terrible. Can't defend, struggles in the air, loves an error. If he can't get you metres from DH he offers nothing. Telling he's coming off a decent season and Penrith want nothing to do with him.
Toronto Wolfpack has been rejected entering back into the super league ...I wonder do Storm now try and Sign Ricky leuete or not ...I mean Frank did say at the POTYA they would wait to find out....I think he would fit in well
Also if they are not having a team there are a few other good players who haven’t already been picked up like Chase Stanley and Darcy Lussick

Nup and nup sallymay. The pace and skill of our NRL has well and truly gone past them both. I’d sign Leutele for depth if he doesn’t have a better offer elsewhere.sallymay wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 5:36 am Toronto Wolfpack has been rejected entering back into the super league ...I wonder do Storm now try and Sign Ricky leuete or not ...I mean Frank did say at the POTYA they would wait to find out....I think he would fit in well
