I reckon that is spot on.Deadpool wrote:Boyd Cordner is out for the Roosters. With Smith, Cronk, Slater and Chambers out and also no Ryley Jacks named, my guess is Hughes will be fullback with Munster and Croft in the halves
As much as I hate SOO period in its adverse impact on our team( we are probably conceding this match to Roosters, when a win would have put us 3 games clear of them ) , I think the club is doing the right thing by its veterans. Particularly with the bye after SOO 3, they should be fired up ready to go for the last part of the season.
I would however expect a full complement against Broncos next weekend. Cooper had a 17 day break between Knights game and SOO2, and it is another 9 days between SOO2 and Broncos.

Looks like Hughes will make his debut for the club. Interesting how Smith has moved into the starting 13...

Not bad, I like it given the cattle available.
If I were the Roosters, I'd be peppering our edges all night. Both sides will have halves and centres not used to defending together. Add to that Young and Scott have had defensive decision issues at centre this year.
If the young kids can snag a win in this game, now THAT would be something.

100%. Bellamy has to wear some responsibility for that try. Persist with Young at centre after what he has shown this year, expect much of the same.Inglis#3 wrote:Craig stop being stubborn and get rid of Tonumaipea.
Bring on Brandon Smith too.
