yeah i have a feeling they might include Young somewhere, either fullback or wing. IMO he is good depth, but if we have who we have available at the moment, he misses out.
From the reports here of the last trial, id have Blair in for his defence ahead of Scott.
Also would like to see NAS get alot more playing time aswell.

Deadpool wrote:Another option for fullback could be Jahrome Hughes. Played well for the Cowboys at the back. Although I don't remember seeing him during the trials. Is he injured or something?
he is....I think he injured his ankle early in pre season...according to his snap chats he is in the rehab group
So our line up has been thrown into a bit of chaos with those two unavailabilities. I now see it like this:
1.Munster/Tonumaipea
2.Vunivalu
3.Chambers
4.Blair/Scott
5.Addo Carr/Tonumaipea
6.Croft/Munster
7.Cronk

That's exactly how it will be named on Tuesday with a 22 man squad, finalised 1hr before kick off as usual.. smokescreen!!
Apparently new rules from this season. Teams are allowed to name a maximum 21 man squad on Tuesday but cannot bring in a player outside of this on game day unless granted special exemption from the NRL.
Who knows how tough they will be on it. But given how serious gambling issues are in the NRL right now, I imagine that they will be pretty tight.
Does little to stop the pre-game coaches antics though...

I think if you're only carrying two genuine halves into the game it would be a waste not to start them both. Especially if it avoids moving the best hooker in the world out of position. If Bellyache is deadset on playing Young then he could use him as a utility from the bench.
my 21 man squad for Rd 1...saw in a photo Nelson and Dean were wearing yellow vests (from what I gathered last year yellow vests meant Bench or close to playing but more likely reserves which is why they only ever take photos in the first 10 minutes of training)
