No, not really. Treleavan moves Inglis around the entire backline positions everytime. He rotates betweeen wing, fullback, and center although his profile on the Storm site says he's a winger.

why would you move slater? if he goes to wing he wont get the ball much...and i dont think inglis is going to be firing in the next couple of weeks considering he is just starting out.

He didnt do much for his cause last night, i think he had 2 hitups in the first half and was caught out on a number of occasions

I really have to say that the only way that Boofa played at that kick from Orford was if he cracked a fat.

I thought he did alright in a team that failed to fire.KimmorleyKiller wrote:He didnt do much for his cause last night, i think he had 2 hitups in the first half and was caught out on a number of occasions
I had higher expectations on how his debut may be remebered but it was not to be.

yeah same here... doesnt look like he will be the sort of player who will come into nrl with a bang... maybey it will be more of a gradual thingMike_The_Undertaker wrote:I thought he did alright in a team that failed to fire.KimmorleyKiller wrote:He didnt do much for his cause last night, i think he had 2 hitups in the first half and was caught out on a number of occasions

The simple fact is that where does billy play in State of Origin
Where does Inglis playin the QLD cup?
Slater had more exprience at wing than Inglis on the wing.

I for one was not impressed at all with Inglis' debut. Having seen him play for the Devils, I was hoping and expecting him to get himself involved a LOT more - what's the point in having a dangerous player if he doesn't get the ball. And while he is a relative unknown to the other teams, it is the perfect time to unleash him.
I can understand however that this was his first game, and he may not be comfortable just yet in seeking out the ball (as Slater usually does - where was he for most of the game by the way??). But defensively, his lack of experience really cost us tonight.
But how is he to learn if he isn't given the opportunity? I'll be glad to write-off this game if he (and others) have learnt a lot from it, but I am starting to fear the worst... we are lacking the spark that we had in the first couple of rounds.

Defensively, what cost us was everything, but Slater last night was horrible. Billy needs to learn that jumper grabbing doesn't cut the mustard in first grade. Soft!!
Storming our way to glory!

slater was picked for QLD on his fullback form...he was jsut chosen in the aussie squad on his fullback form he has more experince then that of inglis...inglis also was caught out a few times on the wing in position he should have been back further...i say give him more time then maybe consider him at fullback but not the form that slater is inAAS wrote:KINGY wrote:why would you move slater? if he goes to wing he wont get the ball much...and i dont think inglis is going to be firing in the next couple of weeks considering he is just starting out.

Slater has had more exprience at winger where Greg inglis is very smart at Full back at the norths game.
Swap them because it is more likley that Billy will be put out on the wing anyway with the State of origin.

well, it's not like slater did a lot with the ball against the eels, he kept giving it away everytime he got his hands on it.
