I got a belated email from SEN, this was in response to an email I sent them about 3 weeks ago. One thing that was mentioned in response to my queries and comments will be good if it eventuates.

Yeah, you or someone else mentioned that. That was part of what I emailed SEN about. I just thought I'd post this up on here to let people know that something is looking like happening shortly.

Does this have anything to do with SEN covering the storm matches live? They covered the Melbourne Tigers Basketball, so I was thinking of submitting to them to do the R/L.

There's a possibility they may cover games, but we need as many people as possible to hassle SEN to do so.

According to Matt Geyer he will be on SEN for an hour on Saturday 13th March from 2pm to 3pm.

Also, at 9pm there will be a replay of Billy Slater being interviewed by Tamsyn Lewis. Then on Monday 15th Billy will be interviewing a sportsperson of his choice from 7pm to 8pm.

According to Mark Doran from SEN, Kirk "Ned" Reynoldson was on air at about 11:25pm last Tuesday. Unfortunately I missed the interview as I don't listen to the station as much as I did to start with. They don't have enough Rugby League for my liking.

Mark says that Kirk will be a regular around that time every Tuesday night. So it might be worth listening next week and if he's on then everyone ring up and say g'day.

Thanks for the link... I tried listening via their website and it seems to work ok - it was a little staticky which I thought was strange... I would've thought they would have a fairly clear sounding reception for the webcast... but it's better than nothing I suppose.

If Storm supporters want Rugby League on radio and other media then I think we need to do a lot more to promote the game and the team.

Did anyone else listen to Kirk Reynoldson and Andrew McFadden on SEN last night?

There were hardly any callers, it was almost like Storm fans didn't care.
