Full time Pride 36 Tigers 16

Second half tries
Pride: Blake Leary, Ty Williams, Jason Castellaro, Stephen Snitch.

So a couple of ex- Storm boys in Tadulala and Leary scored against us.

No Hampton for the Tigers today. Bit of a shame.

Nine wont be doing Easts semi tomorrow which is a shame. Would have loved to have seen how Widdop went.

HT thoughts. Easts leading 26-0.

Tigers have come to play today, forwards got on top early with some good runs from Glasby/Garbutt which has set the platform for the backs to do what they do best. Hampton has caused plenty of problems when he's been given space, his chemistry with Widdop looks good (shame this will be the only game they play together most likely). Widdop looks ok, hasn't done anything spectacular, but he's been solid. Has taken a few hitups and hasn't shown any real signs of injury. Just lacking match fitness.

Really looking forward to seeing what Hampton will bring to our team next season. Hopefully in the offseason he puts on a few KG's. Love his heart but he's going to get belted playing in the NRL week in week out.

Fulltime - Tigers 31- Cutters 18.

Tigers players I think struggled with the heat a fair bit in the second half. A lot of silly errors in attack and some lazy defending. Didn't really look out of control in the match. Mahe and Sau showed their solid partnership in the second half to set up 1 try and almost get a couple of others. Widdop played 63 mins and got through it ok.

They now play the Pride next Sunday at 1:30pm on nine.

Sally do you know if Garbutt is coming back next season ? He seems to be off contract after this year. We really need to keep him.

Bourbon Rat I agree. Wise has been a touch judge in a number of NRL games.

Pretty sure frank said he was signed up Blazza...I wish I'd taken more notice of his name when they had it up on the screen in colours I was more worried about Vave and Somi but I'm 90% sure his name was in white (meaning staying)

Cheers Sally, really hope so. He should be a regular in the team next season.

He was good in his limited opportunities. Hard runs that made a dent. A few defensive issues from memory but left me wanting more.
