Over the past month or so, RLW has had votes going to name the best ever Queensland and New South Wales teams. Today's edition saw the naming of those sides, here they are. No benches were named but, for anyone who might be interested, I've included the four players who got the next highest percentage of a vote in any position as the bench:

Queensland:

1. Billy Slater 79% of votes
2. Dale Shearer 39%
3. Greg Inglis 19%
4. Mal Meninga 65%
5. Wendell Sailor 22%
6. Wally Lewis 65%
7. Allan Langer 71%
8. Shane Webcke 34%
9. Cameron Smith 76%
10. Arthur Beetson 42%
11. Gorden Tallis 60%
12. Trevor Gillmeister 14%
13. Bob Lindner 63%

Theoretical Bench

14. Darren Lockyer 38% (Five Eighth), 9% (Fullback)
15. Jonathan Thurston 25% (Halfback)
16. Steve Walters 18% (Hooker)
17. Kerry Boustead/Matt Sing 13% (Wing)

Dallas Johnson had 12% of the vote at Lock.

New South Wales:

1. Garry Jack 45%
2. Eric Grothe Snr 47%
3. Brett Kenny 39%
4. Ryan Girdler 15%
5. Andrew Ettinghausen 20%
6. Brad Fittler 59%
7. Andrew Johns 62%
8. Paul Harragon 31%
9. Ben Elias 50%
10. Glenn Lazarus 25%
11. Nathan Hindmarsh 26%
12. Paul Sironen 40%
13. Bradley Clyde 37%

Theoretical Bench:

14. Paul Gallen 36% (Lock), 20% (Prop)
15. Danny Buderus 39% (Hooker)
16. Peter Stirling 28% (Halfback)
17. Anthony Minichiello 25% (Fullback)

Interesting that Darren Lockyer did not get in except for my theoretical bench based on percentage of votes and neither did Laurie Daley or Paul Vautin.

Other current or former Storm players included on the shortlist are as follows:

Cooper Cronk 2% (Halfback)
Robbie Kearns 1% (Prop)

Also interesting to note that the two players who got the highest percentage of the vote in their respective positions were Billy Slater 79% and Cameron Smith 76% and that Billy had to beat out Lockyer and Belcher and Cam had to beat out Steve and Kerrod Walters.
