For the first time ever, I'm going to Canberra to see Storm play in Round 1!! I will be booking my flights and accom this weekend. It's great knowing in advance when the games will be - it makes planning interstate trips so much easier.

I'm glad the Canberra trip in at the start of March and not in the middle of winter when it is freezing and snowing.

Any tips on where to stay in Canberra that is convenient to the ground??

Hopefully I will see some of you there!

P.S. I bet the Townsville game will be 8.30pm local time on Saturday night - because Queensland don't have daylight savings that gives Fox THREE live games (ie. it will be live in Melbourne at 9.30pm) - I know they jiggle the Queensland games around at that time of the year so they are all live.

mahoobla anywhere in the city or a bed and breakfast in dickson is good
I went to canberra this yr and alot of my friends stayed at hotels in the city but i decided to stay in a b&b which was lovely but the ground is easy to get too from the city or where i stayed

As for Tville im thinking sat too cause their rd 4 and 5 are saturdays our rd 4 and 5 are sunday and friday
