That is an exeptionally well written article by Masters,I have never been a fan of the 2 referee system,and hopefully this will hilite some of the problems that it causes,and as he points out if the second ref is not policing the ruck properly"why have him there".How easy would it have been though for Cooper Cronk to have carried on re the Ennis "stomping" and get the grub rubbed out for a couple of games,and if the ref and the video ref AND the match review committee had all done their jobs properly,that is exactly what should have happened.Like Masters points out,there seems to be laws for state of origin and laws for the NRL games,and as he also points out, Melbourne and Manly are now once again on top and the other teams are all having a whinge..The signs are all obvious,well to any one that opens both eyes at least!!!!!!!
