With about 10 min to go I saw a flood of people leaving..
I have never seen that before and think it was terrible.
Agreed it was not our best game but hey I paid a lot more
money to sit through the 08 finals until the end to watch
my team loose.... it hurt and still does .. but I will not leave
before a game is over because of the score line...
Why even come to the game if you are going to leave ?
As a supporter I am there to support my team till the end.
We had 7 players out - through origin and injury,
the BS that has been going on for months now and
the uncertainty of the players and the teams future is a
massive blow for the team to over come.
But from loses comes many lessons that in time will
help those players improve on their weaknesses and
perform better as a team in the future. In order to win
you need to know the bitter taste of defeat.
I am a Storm Supporter and have been since day 1
I will not leave a game due to the score line or bad weather.

Hey BTKS it doesn't surprise me that you left early

I have notice something with the Sydney Media and Sydney people in the papers this week.
When we bet the Bulldogs with alot of stars out a couple of weeks ago, we put a team of the filed well under the salary cap. But we did not get credit for being a good side and beating them by a good margin. Every said the Bulldogs were bad. This week a team full young guys gets beaten and the headlines are Storm get thrased by Roosters and no one makes much of the players missing. Every one is saying this is what it is going to be like next year.
The Broncos did thash the Bunnies, but the stories all say the the Bunnies were under strength, they had three first grades out, we had eight. Even the channel ten news in Melbourne tonight, said we were thrased, but they did not mention the fact there was eight senior players missing.
I have had enough. Things have to start going our way soon.

I was not at the game on Mon night I have missed 3 home games in our history.I am watching the game now (after origin ) and I am so proud of our young guns.remember when Slater/Inglis/Cronk etc were unknowns?.Billythekidslater you are a dissapointment on this you sometimes post good and relevent points but you need to lift your game and back our young guns (if you have purple blood, like most of us on this forum).
