I was wondering who played 5/8 in the NSW Cup too. It wasn't Dane. He was a a fair haired bloke with a solid build and a fair bit of ability too.

Interesting Blake Leary on the bench, his form deserves it but I also think the NYC team may function better with Griffen at lock if that is the way they go.

No Makimare ?

Shellharbour Dragons Vs Melbourne Storm
Ron Costello Oval, Sunday, June 6
Kick-off: 3.00pm
Referee: Michael Laverty

A must win match here for the home side after a losing run which has stretched out to seven games following their 43-22 loss to the Sharks last round. It won’t be an easy task though as the visiting Storm have won five of their last six including three of their last four away. Shellharbour will be desperate to make the most of one of its stronger playing rosters in a while as a number of these players are likely to be called on again by Wayne Bennett in the coming weeks with Origin game two just around the corner. The Storm will be without the services of Gareth Widdop who has been named to make his International debut for England after just a handful of NRL and nine NSW Cup appearances. Despite not being named there is also some chance that Jeff Lima may play as he is the 18th man for the Storm NRL squad which takes on Parramatta in Sydney on Friday night, and if his services are not required there, don’t be shocked to see him at Ron Costello Oval on Sunday. A win for Melbourne here could see them climb to as high as fifth while the Dragons just need a win to get their season back on track.

Another good win, really starting to put it together now, as is Dane Chisholm, who has snapped out of his early season blues and is really putting his best foot forward.

Yay, though I already knew the results because I hit the website before logging in here.We are now sitting in 6th spot just above the Wentworthville  Magpies who we play next Saturday June 12 at Olympic Park. The following weekend Saturday June 19 is another game at Olympic Park against the Balmain Ryde Eastwood Tigers.

Go get em boys!
