Well done to the lad.
How does the selection go for Victorian raised players ? do they have an option on which State they can play for if either of the States are interested in them.

Not sure, as far as I know its a first.

However since the SG Ball competition is run by the NSWRL I can only assume it will be for the Blues.

5 or 6 years from now QLD will be jumping up & down about this.

Well done ,

Just out of interest , does anyone know what age Timana Tahu left Melboune,

I played against his old man ,his uncle ,  and his older brother  at St Kilda rugby league club , and Timana also played for St kilda as a young fella,

It rarely gets mentioned that he was melbourne born and bred.

Jake Webster is another, played against his old man ( Altona)

Good to see a Northern Thunder/Craigieburn Phoenix player get picked for Rep duties.  I guess that makes him NSW from now on?

A word of warning.

If he's this good now, wait till he's had a few more years elite coaching.

Congrats to Richie, I was surprised he wasn't selected for the first test but you would have to think he's the youngest on the tour at 15.
