Melbourne Storm v Sydney Roosters
Round 10, 2001
The Storm were in the midst of an uncharacteristically flat season however were buoyed by their last-start 52-18 thumping of Northern Eagles. The Roosters meanwhile were in third place and chasing another grand final appearance. With a 21-year-old Anthony Minichiello lighting up the NRL as an attacking force, this game opened as a battle of two tough forward packs before individual brilliance came to the fore in one of the best clashes of 2001.

Ah yes I think I remember this game, didn't we lead and get run down? The radio callers were going on about how good the game was.

Its silly putting storm games up we probably will never win a slot.
Maybe if they put all 3 games featuring the Storm now that would be good.
