Hye guys I know a lot of people aren't going to like this at first but I think it is time to change the Storm theme song. I like the current theme song but there is one problem with it. You can't sing along to it.

Wouldn't it be great if we had a theme song that we could all sing along to? I know a lot of people will say just leave it as is and love the current song but look at all the AFL clubs and look at South Sydney. they are all great songs to sing along to. Imagine when we win throwing our arms around each other and singing the song in the crowd

What do people think?

I hate the AFL club songs .. crappy lyrics based on crappy old tunes ... might be easier for kids to remember and sing, but i think they all just sound ridiculous

Who can't sing along to it?

I've been on plenty of away trips and at plenty of home games where supporters sing along to the theme song.

I lovedit to but the chorus is to short to join in and other then us die hard fans no one knows the words

We dove have a song to sing along to a-la AFL clubs. It's the same tune the song for the Adelaide Crows.

You may well say 'sacrilege'  :P but I have never liked the Storm song and am unlikely to change my mind anytime soon.  Its too long, too wordy and has no 'oomph' for want of a better description. Its a bit like the newer AFL team songs, just nothing going for it IMO. Much prefer something a la South Sydney (or Richmond even!!).
