Hilarious Bias from Nein

Couldnt make it this year due to other commitments, but we had a live broadcast fron WIN tV, god bless them.
The nein commentators were so biased towards Manly it was laughable.
Gus kept going on about manly out-muscleing storm, saying the pigeons were beating storm in the physical game.
Ray Warren actually started cheering "GO Manly" as they tried to break the storm line. 
Compare & contrast with wazza & lauzza in the fox sports call. Impartial, measured, & informative.
A great night in our household.

Nah i think Rabs said 'Come on Manly' but it was still shocking, could not believe how biased they were last night more then usual. Rabs comment just topped it of

was getting close to putting it on mute.

I usually like Gould but got sick of him telling us 100 times that Manly were winning the physical battle

Fair enough bullets. The bias was really glaring to us because we watched the fox sports version straight after, and it was like watching a different game.
Tolman was awesome in both versions & i'm not biased...much lol

Actually Warren Smith is normally much more Manly biased, guess them getting totally outclassed prevented him from breaking forth. If you saw the Manly game on Fox Sports last week you would have heard him just about jizzing himself!

Well, y'know, I had to get up and watch the replay as I got home too late last night to see it.   ;D

Actually, to be honest I had no idea what time the replay was being shown today. I got up switched the computer on and checked out the tv guide just in time to catch the last 15 minutes.   ;-)

I'm confused... how did Manly win the physical battle exactly??  We smashed them all over the park, and made 320m more than them, yet they only made 17 more tackles... unless we average nearly 20m a run, that would suggest we were well and truly on top

totally agree. i watched the foxsports coverage this morning and they made the nein guys look like amateurs. Cheering manly on was laughable. Yeah fair enough they are from sydney...but its your job to put that stuff behind and comment on what you see. Not to mention the countless errors the nein guys did. They called Blair chambers...called tolman finch. Seriously how hard is it to tell players apart?

Its bad enough we get the telecast here in Melbourne at a ridiculous hr. never mind putting up with their shite biased commentary.

I rang up Ch.9 friday morning to get the exact time the coverage started as I wanted to pre-set the game because I was attending the game (and at the same time had a whinge about the time they broadcast ;D) and got this guy who said "I have some great news for you the telecast in on at 11 pm" :o.

I just said *whoopee do* and thank you for that :lol:
