Re: Losing Faith in Bellyache
I have faith in Bellyache, he is no Muppet. Those criticising him need to consider that perhaps he has a plan to try and manage through the Origin period and the aftermath which has seen us short of some of the best of our squad. I have some thoughts on what some aspects of his plan may be although ...

Did you miss the Muppet years?toe wrote:I'm just being honest, realistic and maybe overly critical of our recent performances which to me lack the one thing I've never encountered supporting the storm, which is a visible lack of hunger and effort.

Keep the faith. This is 2012, not 2002. Bellamy's no muppet!

Re: Round 20 - Melbourne Storm v Parramatta Eels
Okay, watched the game at my local club so had no sound. Left me with lots and lots of questions. Why was Hoffy called as held up over the line on the last tackle in the first half when replay showed that he had grounded the ball? Should've been a try. Why was Storm not given a penalty when Widdop l...

Re: Round 19 vs Cowboys Game Thread
Despite all our problems we lost to another top eight side by a successful conversion and a penalty goal.

Re: Round 19 vs Cowboys Game Thread
I don't understand why Bellamy doesn't leave Widdop at 5/8th. There's no-one else capable of replacing him there whereas at least we have other players that can do a have decent job at fullback besides Widdop.
It leaves Cronk under too much pressure.

Hmm, strange. I had just assumed that the other game was being played in Perth at 7:30pm WST but I see it's actually being played in Newcastle.Rose Madder wrote:Just off topic a bit..does anyone know why they have 2 games on at 5.30 today and 1 at 7.30 ??

I was trying to work out the connection between Slater and a Batman promotion, then it finally dawned on me, it's the superheroes them.

Re: Rd 18 vs Canberra
We've played and won against teams with big packs. Teams in the past had worked us out and then Bellamy adjusted our game plan to counteract that. Unfortunately against the Raiders with Smith and Slater out, our 5/8th playing fullback and the forwards failing to fire the plan fell apart. We will be ...
