Re: Channel 9 - worst yet
I spoke to programming at Channel None. This is what they said in response to my queries: - Why was Under 20s not on instead of 1953 movie Mogambo? Not commercially viable, better ratings for Mogambo than the Under 20s. I replied by saying the ratings at 2pm on one Sunday afternoon wasn't going to b...

Re: Channel 9 - worst yet
Channel "None" are a disgrace. Not only no presentations after our win but had Mogambo, a 1953 movie starring Ava Gardner and Clark Gable on instead of our Under 20s. Great effort Thunderbolts as well. Thank goodness for Fox Sports. How biased were the None commentators throughout the game...

Re: Wayne Bennett's Logic
I did not hear any complaints from Bennett last year when the Storm finished first, lost to the Warriors and then had to play the Broncos at Suncorp.

Re: Was the Ryan Tandy report thrown out ?
Good to see Tandy, not being charged. How good was his first half in particular on Friday night? Got his head through the line a couple of times and drew a couple of penalties. Particularly funny when big George Rose belly flopped on him. I have been a fan of Tandy since seeing him play for Balmain ...

Re: Who do we play in the semi?
Dogs finished second so probably fair enough to be in a tougher group them then.
Still way better than the alternative of playing next week. We have a week off and then play in Melbourne, as opposed to having to win next week and then heading to Sydney for prelim final.

Good work boys. Both Jesse and Gareth have impressed me this season.

Re: anderson injured
**paging Mr. Robbie Kearns, paging Mr. Robbie Kearns, you are required in the No.8 jersey** Do we still have Clifford Manua on our books? Most likely have to get either Hep Cahill or Jesse Bromwich into the team. Yet to see JB run around. No, we don't have Clifford Manua on our books. We released...

Re: Quinn takes mighty steps
I hope Quinny gets back to full health. We have missed his dummy half runs and his toughness. Amazing that he has played 162 NRL games and is only 26.
He was one of the players who signed a long term contract last year after his 3 Origin games.

Re: ryan tandy?
I am a big fan of Ryan Tandy. I saw him play a number of games for Balmain Ryde Tigers in NSW Cup and for Ireland at RLWC last year. He just continually puts his hand up for work (the kind of player Craig Bellamy likes)and can put a dent in the opposition's defensive line. He should also be voted ou...

Re: Round 23 v Knights Lineups
I think Nielsen is quite a solid player and hope we have (or do) re-signed him for next year. I, like Super Cronk, am pretty happy to see Ryan Tandy get a game. He has been carving it up for CC Storm and I was impressed with the games I saw him play last year with Balmain-Ryde Tigers in NSW Cup and ...

Re: Round 22 v Cowboys Lineup & Spoilers
Yep we have to be playing a Qld team to get any love from channel 9 up here. At least you get some love from Channel Nine. Last week's clash Dragons (1st) v Storm (4th) on at 12:15am Saturday morning in Melbourne and Cowboys clash on at midnight. At least I will be able to get to the graveyard tomo...

Re: Round 22 v Cowboys Lineup & Spoilers
Bani is out so Donald Malone is making his first grade debut...about time, watched this kid carve up game after game for the mighty Ipswich Jets last year. I remember the Storm were interested in him before he signed with the Cowboys, couldn't be pulled away from Qld though. Interesting to see how ...

That's right Freshy. He is at the Roosters. He was cleared just before June 30 and has played 4 or 5 games with Newtown in the NSW Cup.

Re: bring on the saints in the final
Something I noticed about Greg's bombs was that on a number of occasions the opposition didn't want to touch them either, so they would bounce on the ground and go anywhere. This would give us as much if not more chance of scoring off a kick than we currently have. The fact Greg is back in the centr...

Re: SCOTT ANDERSON
I don't want Anderson to realise what a nuffie he is, I want Bellamy to realise it. As has been said Anderson makes a number of handling errors, although he has improved in this area this year compared to prior years. He doesn't usually make a dent in the opposition's defensive line. I agree he had ...
