Re: Man of Steel Jersey
Like a lot of jerseys, you need to see it a few times before really making a call on it. I wasn't keen initially (guess I was just expecting something different) but it is growing on me.
And if anyone would approve of a Superman inspired jersey, it would be Jerry!

Yep... Craig Fitzgibbon on 1,560 points. Not too far away Cam.Mattpoet wrote:Fairly sure Craig Fitzgibbon has the most points by a forward, not sure how many though.

Re: Upcoming Milestones
A milestone I don't think anyone else has mentioned is Cameron Smith scored his 1,400th NRL point v the Roosters. Congratulations Cameron. Something I couldn't find in a quick search, what is the record for all time greatest point scorer (by a forward)? it was David Furner on 1,218 but obviously he...

He comes on here to post borderline-retarded views but when you call him on it he just responds with "LOL got another fish here!"...
Anyone who legitimately thinks Cronk deserved a suspension for THAT, has no idea about Rugby League... Or is a heavily biased twat. Take your pick.

Re: Man of Steel Jersey
I hope so! I liked the DKR one as well but a Superman one sounds intriguing. Fingers crossed it is a decent design, if so, sign me up for one!

Re: Is our recruiting letting us down?
If you take into consideration match payments, that wouldn't be far from the mark of "minimum NRL wage".mattystorm1987 wrote:yeah i wouldnt pay more than 150k for blair, any more than that and your pouring money down a rat hole..
Still probably too much for Blair.

Re: ORIGIN I
Sutton is a damn good player these days. Hardly an overrated muppet. Disagree mate (seems it's a rarity). Sutton has been mediocre his entire career and only starting to shine this year behind a forward pack that is steamrolling oppositions. For a larger running 5/8 to look decent against a constan...

Ferguson kicks and has stood in for the Raiders on a number of occasions. Another/higher quality backup goal kicker should be at the lower end of priorities IMO.

Re: ORIGIN I
Hinchcliffe would be a good addition I reckon. All bias aside, an ideal addition. A high quality hooking replacement for Farah (allowing Farah to play half if Pearce went down) but also a top notch forward rotation. Personally, I would consider still having Hinchy come off the bench for us at club ...

To be honest, NSW do not need to pick a utility. They have the best one in RL in Luke Lewis.

Re: ORIGIN I
I'm surprised Mal isn't going to use DCE off the bench like he did with Cronk. I'm glad he didn't. No point. Cronk was really only justified because; a. There was the imminent retirement of Lockyer. b. He is a proven utility These two points do not apply to DCE. There is no imminent departure of a ...
