Re: Round 6 - Storm vs Knights
Once the overlap occurs both Young and Suli are on the back foot and ball watching. Either one has to make the decision to come up and apply pressure, right? It's such a tough decision this one. When you think that's the option and you think you're gunna get em the ball gets shifted past the person...

Re: Round 6 - Storm vs Knights
His decision making has been definitely questionable. For a team who doesn't have many breakdowns he's a clear weak link in the line. This always irritates me. As a former winger, albeit in Union but the principle is the same, if your inside players don't slide across you're left high and dry. You ...

Re: Cam Smith - 356 Games
They'll get to play together at Origin time. Personally I think Craig was always going to take a 50/50 path with the halves and then they'd come togrther at Origin. I think with Will having an enforced rest the opportunity was right to move Munster to the centres. For the very limited amount I saw l...

Do you have some inside running, I'm thinking you might?
I'm starting to think this too but he does it annoyingly
Silence can say so much.

Re: Round 6 - Storm vs Knights
Does anybody think we're a given this week, three on the trot could be looming. I can't for one moment think we'd lose three straight (when was the last time?) but then I thought the Tigers were no chance, either time.

Re: Round 6 - Storm vs Knights
How would it look and feel if Munster went to centre, Young T to outer space and retained Croft and Jacks in the halves? I'm not convinced about Munster being in the middle of the park. He shines brightly when surrounded by gold but unfortunately for him he has a bit of a brown glow at the moment...

Re: Round 6 - Storm vs Knights
Need some Brandon Smith playing real minutes too. Blast some energy through the team. I keep reading and hearing this but if he comes on for any substantial length of time then his "blast of energy" tapers. Impact wise he is brilliant, it will be interesting around origin time (assuming C...

Re: We don't have this magical fairy dust
Weren't Parra supposed to be favourites, or was it the Rooters (as they seem to be every year)?
In Rugby League I don't see how anybody, pre-season, can ever be a favourite

Agreed totally, but then why are we trying to play so expansively, what does Craig know / see?yourhero wrote: The teams that adapt quicker to the refereeing and hold onto the ball, will be higher on the ladder. Simple.

Re: Round 4 - Sharks vs Storm
PS I also watched the Sharks presser and had this tidbit from Gallen to share: Reporter: So what happened at the end of the game with you and Nelson AS? Galen: He grabbed me from behind and I just turned around and said to him "If you're such a big strong guy how about you grab me from the fro...

Re: Round 4 - Sharks vs Storm
It was a bullshit sinbin on Smith, but it certainly didn't cost us the game. Does anyone know what was ACTUALLY SAID?, I wouldn't comment until i knew. They've been quick to march for backchat (and I'm all for it) so it must've been pretty serious. Cam Smith is usually polished with his responses s...

Re: Round 4 - Sharks vs Storm
They may be doing the wrong things (both sides) and the penalties may be legit but this is going to lose fans. Not frustrated, angry, pee'd off.
