Re: Qualifying Final - Storm vs Sea Eagles
Last time we played we had no NAS, TUI & KAUFUSI along with paps off the bench on his 3rd game back still very hesitant & struggling a bit. With Paps in a much better place now with more games and off the back of a very dominant display with much more confidence now along with NAS, TUI &...

Re: RD 25 vs Cronulla
Loving the fact cowboys pushed manly’s full strength team for the full 80. Big advantage for us with a heap of our forwards being a lot more fresh for next weeks game. True ( well, 70, not 80 ! ) but Manly have 2 gun wingers, their 3 back rowers are very dangerous, and I think their full back is qu...

Re: RD 25 vs Cronulla
There were lots of positives, Paps and Seve were awesome. NAS was great when he came on and with a bit more fitness his impact will be even better. Paps finally looked like the bloke he was before concussion. Seve played a lot better with an awesome try. Im not worried about Munster (obviiously wan...

Re: RD 25 vs Cronulla
I wanted to see a big game from paps, a more dominate display and that’s what he showed he looked much more dominate and threatening with the ball in hand. I think this game sums up who’s fullback next week. Any news on B smith going off early and limping a little? I hope it’s nothing serious and hi...

Re: RD 25 vs Cronulla
I’m expecting a big game from paps, he needs a big game heading into finals next week. I think if paps has a good game he will have the number 1 jersey next week but if he struggles and has another off game Hynes will take the number 1 next week. This is a very important game for paps, I hope he kil...

Re: Official thread and signing news
Was one of the most damaging ball runners for eels back in the day. Will take some work and time, I think with a full pre season and some more games under his belt he will improve a lot. His still young and just hitting prime age for a forward so I think it’s a solid signing.

Re: RD 25 vs Cronulla
“ Coach Craig Bellamy intends on sticking by fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen and believes Melbourne can go into the NRL finals without an extra big man on the bench.” “ If we've got those guys (Grant and Hynes) on the bench we've got a pretty good side," Bellamy said on Thursday. I guess that sums up...

Re: RD 25 vs Cronulla
Was Cameron smith really suggesting Craig to toss up between carrying Hynes or Grant on the bench saying Bellamy needs to decide if smith plays the 80 and Hynes is utility on the bench with grant missing out or Hynes misses out and grant comes on as a second dummy half… Of course grant is going to b...

Re: RD 25 vs Cronulla
Honestly I don’t see Craig wanting us to lose again after last weeks performance, I think he would be wanting a good solid performance going into finals next week but technically we can still put in a good performance and lose considering we have 7 players missing. South’s without Mitchell and on to...

Re: RD 25 vs Cronulla
Didn’t expect Jennings back this year to be honest, that’s a huge in i’m glad to see him back, his strong runs out of our own end help a lot and I think we’ve missed that go forward from him too. NAS, TUI, PENE, FINUCANE all on the field at the same time is quite some grunt & punch. Hopefully we...

Re: RD 25 vs Cronulla
1.paps 2. Lumelume 3. Seve ( smith probably needs a rest ) 4. Olam 5. Leremia 6. Hynes ( Munster said he was keen for a rest ) 7. John’s ( not worth risking Hughes ) 8. Tui ( Needs hit out before finals ) 9. Booth ( Maybe grant, not worth risking both but ) 10. NAS ( Needs hit out before finals ) 11...

Re: RD 24 Storm vs Parramatta
I think the huge decision will be if paps even makes the side if starting Hynes is the best option for the team.. Like I just don’t see how he can be in the side, we need the size on the bench come finals against these big aggressive packs. I feel for paps, big decision Bellamy has to make. I honest...

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread
So we could see Welch and Jesse sit next week with NAS & Pene replacing those two along with Dale back at lock.
Cheese was holding his shoulder during the game so not sure what’s the go there he played on though, he may get a rest too.
