Can Ieremia be “de-activated” due to his season ending ACL ? Won’t be back in 2023. I don’t know the answer Mattpoet ….but geeez Noafa looked solid on a wing for Storm last year. Storm wouldn’t do that they don’t cut injured players they back them to come back and play their best Agreed Sally....bu...

Re: Official thread and signing news
It'll be interesting to see what approach we take in regards to recruitment vs retention. We have a fair bit of size in the forwards off contract: NAS, Grant, Sims, Moeroa, King, Eisenhuth (CO) Then we have a few off-contract backs too with some question marks: Ieremia (ACL), Jennings (ACL previous...

Re: Storm Vs Eels Commbank stadium
Something I loved was that everyone in our starting pack (with the exception of Harry and he can be forgiven) ran for over a hundred metres. Great to have Christian back and he led from the front. Last year it was a rarity to have more than one or two make the ton, and Jesse (our captain remember) ...

Re: Official thread and signing news
Grant Anderson is top 30 Stormhunter you are correct. Although , the NRL doesn't have him on our list. https://www.nrl.com/news/2022/01/27/2022-signings-tracker-official-rosters-for-all-17-nrl-clubs/ I see Grant Anderson has been removed from the Storm website's teams page. It wasn't a great photo ...

Re: Official thread and signing news
Great news about Pene, he'll be vying for the last spot on the bench with Jordan and Tepai.
Still weirded out by the 30 players though. Is someone going to be released? To be near family?

Re: Official thread and signing news
Interesting if we sign Pene that's 30 players which is unusual for this time of year.

Re: Official thread and signing news
No point giving Munster an early release, we'll have an extra million under the salary cap but there's no one left to spend it on. He'll go okay next year, It's his last chance at a premiership and it's supposedly Bellamy's last year. Pezet might be ready for '24.

Re: 2023 Best Line Up
The backs pick themselves, the only question is whether George can get his spot back given Meaney is likely to train pre season predominantly at fullback. Or if Warbrick can push into firsts at some point on merit. Round one middle rotation I reckon Welch Tui NAS (13) Sims King (bench 13) Moeroa Apa...
