Asi've said no threat. Rugby starts in feb, and end in may. NRL has a different schedule where the overlap of the games of the 2 codes is minimal...

PS. And besides that Rugby 14 tournament runs from the first week in February to the 1st week in May. The NRL runs from the 3rd week in March to the end of September.
