Re: Munster calls Melbourne Home
Ah yes , Wayne Bennett - a man of impeccable morals . Ask his son-in-law Ben Ikin what kind of man Wayne Bennett is.

Re: Official thread and signing news
Wonderful news re Munster. I really feared he was gone.
So let’s get NAS signed, Paps, Christian and Reimis fit and back in the lineup , get some of the new forwards bending the line , and make a real impact in 2023 and beyond !

Re: Official thread and signing news
Ennis said following Cronulla’s loss last night that the Storm should look into signing Andrew Fifita. I think I can already guess what everyone’s reaction to that idea on here will be… He broke my heart in 2016. If he can help rebuild it , I am ok with that. As long he is not George Rose the Second

Re: Queensland Cup
Let’s hope Jonah will be able to step up into the halves for the Storm in 2024.

Re: Storm vs Roosters
Is Xavier likely ? Only a 7 day break - is he obliged to miss next week, or does it depend on how he pulls up ?

Re: Broncos v Storm
In better news , Craig said Felise was at the game .So hopefully he will be good to play next week. I have my fingers crossed re Tui. He was on camera a lot after the game , chatting to teammates. He seemed to be moving fine and in a good mood. If I was staring at a recurrence of a debilitating inju...

Re: Broncos v Storm
It is astonishing that Cooper is not named as a reserve but Jayden N is. Cooper must be injured. He really has done well in recent times , so certainly ( if fit );should be next man up if Jahrome does not recover in time .

Re: Soooo, Billy Slater
Just so we're clear, I'm not advocating that we toss Bellamy in favor of Billy tomorrow. But we know this year or next is probably Craig's last season as coach before he steps back into a more hands off role. He's still got 4 years at the club. I'm thinking maybe next year, Billy comes in as an ass...

Re: Soooo, Billy Slater
It would be magical. The public profile he would bring, the excitement for all Storm supporters and indeed the Victorian public , would be priceless. None of that would ultimately be any good if he can’t coach , and I agree three games is a small sample ; BUT it was the biggest stage and he acquitte...

Re: Rep Round
I thought Bill Harrigan was great! I agree. He had the guts to award the penalty try in the 99 grand final. Compare that with Paul Simpkins who should have won the Churchill Medal for his efforts for the Broncos in the 06 GF, and Sean Hampstead who was always happy to hammer us on the penalty count.

Re: Rep Round
Jonah Pezet deservedly named player of the match. Made great decisions all night , both with passing and kicking.
Jack Howarth did not come back after HIA. The jury still out on him . Still very young of course .
