Re: Nsw Cup 2012

I just finished watching the Sharks game v North Sydney from a couple of weeks ago. Sharks won that match. There were three Storm players playing in that match: Michael Greenfield: He was very good made a lot of metres in attack and made a number of good offloads. He was also very solid in defense. ...

Re: Storm vs Sharks

I hope you are right re: Kenny B getting a game. I hope it isn't Hoffy that has the possible injury. Kenny and Jesse will be the first set of brothers to play in the same team for the Storm (if / when it happens). They will be the fourth set of brothers to play for the Storm joining Ben and Matt Cro...

Re: Paul Gallen

Gallen is unlikely to play on Sunday because of his knee particularly with Origin the week after. So he is challenging it because if he wins there will be 0 points and no carryover points and if he loses it earns 100 points so he gets suspended for a game he is likely to miss anyway and has 0 carryo...

Re: 2012 Official Thread + Signing news

Just reading between the lines of what Frank Ponnissi said on Storm hour I think Sika is gone. He said something along the lines of we have been in negotiations with Sika and given him an offer, which doesn't match offers from other clubs and we are concentrating on re-signing our other players.

Re: 2012 Official Thread + Signing news

Blair, Norrie and Waqa all re-signed at the same time and I thought that they all signed for one year plus an option of one year. Now that you say it, that does sound like what I remember hearing too, can you remember if they all had the option in their favour - pretty sure Norrie's is. Don't remem...

Luke Breust played league until he was 18 or so. I used to play against him - I had no idea he was playing for Hawthorn.
Breust comes from Temora the same town as Ryan Hinchcliffe.

Re: 2012 Official Thread + Signing news

Would Love to see Dane Gagai from the broncos! He would look good on the wing next year. He's a junior kangaroo rep and in my opinion, the most talented of the donkeys young backs eg Copley, Beale, Yow Yeh and Hoffman. They released him today due to undisclosed reasons after extending his contract ...

Re: Dane Neilsen

Disappointed to see him go. His defence has always been first class and his attack has improved out of sight this year. I understand why he is leaving and wish him all the best. He has been a great servant for the Storm playing over 60 games (another player who had played not many NRL games before a...

Re: Manly v Des

Just before half time in the Manly Raiders game, did anyway see Brett Stewart take out Joel Thompson in the in goal area after the Raiders put in a grubber kick? Thompson was chasing Jamie Lyon and the next minute Stewart just moved in front of him and there was even a hint of a raised elbow from St...

That is why it is amazing that (I think it was) Surandy suggested a couple of weeks ago that he shouldn't be in the test team.

2nd 40 when the forwards actually layed a platform DCE set alight,Liam Foran......fken not up to nrl standard Maybe that is why Foran hadn't added to his three games he played for the Storm during the Origin period in 2008 until this year. He had stints at Auckland and the Roosters during that time...
