Re: Finals

Hmm, NRL website doesn't seem to have details of exact dates for finals anymore. FFS they love to make it hard to make ANY plans! They also have contradictory information regarding which venues may be used for finals. On the Finals Information page it says for weeks two and three that only Etihad or...

Re: NYC 2012

The Bolts have done it tough but they still can do it.

If they draw or lose against the Tigers then they can still make the finals if Dragons lose on Sunday.

Good luck to the lads for Saturday, a win would be great and would see them get a home final as the curtain raiser to Storm's home final.

Re: Storm Vs Tigers Team

Refs are Archer and Suttor. Well, at least we don't have Hayne, Badger or Cecchin reffing us this week.

You'd think he'd want to go out with a premiership, who knows when he'll get a chance again with him going to Penriff.

Re: Finals

Well, tonights win puts us in 2nd meaning that we get a home final week one and a second home final in week two or week three.

Saturday night will be interesting given both we and the Bulldogs play at 7:30pm. By the end of our game we should know who's on first and what's on second.

Yes good point. Especially if they play next week like they did against Canberra.

Finals

Well, whatever happens from here we are almost guaranteed of finishing in the top 4. This means we will play either the Friday night, 7th of Sept or Sunday arvo, 9th of Sept. I say almost guaranteed because we would need to lose both of our remaining games by a fair margin and the Seagulls, Bunnies ...

Re: Nine/Fox to retain NRL Broadcast rights

Apparently there's no stipulation they have to show it live on Gem (Friday nights) but i doubt we'll be reverting back to the bad old days of midnight replays and reckon the first game will continue to be shown live on Gem. i thought I read somewhere that Storm games would definitely be shown live ...

Re: NYC 2012

If we win only one of our remaining games and the Dragons win in round 26 & Bunnies win one of their two remaining games then we'll stay 9th on 30 points with Dragons & Bunnies 31.

Re: NYC 2012

Back to 9th at the moment. It's going to be tough going to secure a top 8 finish. If we win both our remaining games and other results go our way we could finish as high as 6th.

If we have our best side out there and are still losing as many games, then I'd be worried.

But I still support the team and the coach regardless!

Re: Michael Greenfield

If it had been a Storm player that had ended someones career with a shoulder charge we would have been crucified by the media but we have heard NOTHING about this. Not entirely true, they mentioned Michael Green(something) from Storm has had his career ended on today's Offsiders. They weren't sure ...

Re: Storm vs Dragons at WIN Stadium 27/07 7:35pm

I'm just being honest, realistic and maybe overly critical of our recent performances which to me lack the one thing I've never encountered supporting the storm, which is a visible lack of hunger and effort. Did you miss the Muppet years? I Wish i would have missed the Muppet years :-X Why? There w...
